News Update: Girls Proutists

Protest by members of Girls Proutist Student Federation : 29 September 2026

Law Students Nandini didi and Vanya didi led a protest at National Law University Raipur, Chhattisgarh, under the platform Women of HNLU for women of India. They raised their voice against the orthodox Patriarchal System, that restricts women to come forward, judge them on their dress, on their life style, on their employment etc etc. they demand social equal rights in the society. These protestors were extremly furios and mentioned –

There seems to be no end to the violence women and girls are subjected to in this country.

A 17-year-old allegedly gang-raped at Aastha Kunj Park.

Another 17-year-old reportedly assaulted inside a moving bus.

A 10-year-old girl sexually assaulted in Sadar Bazar.

And on September 28, the Supreme Court itself took suo motu cognisance of the reported surge in sexual violence across Delhi-NCR.

These are not just numbers. They are women and children whose safety failed them.

We cannot keep waiting for the next case, the next headline, or the next outrage.

We may not be able to change everything overnight. But we can stand up.
