Editorial : The Call that remains unheard of !

Everything in this universe follows the limitations of relative factors of time, space and person. These factors create boundaries for human beings to do things. It does not mean that the needs of the sufferers are to be ignored. All have to move on the path of Supreme Attainment. But the stamina and the means to keep momentum towards the ongoing flow of life in a proper way becomes difficult for those who are economically marginalised, socially suppressed and mentally depressed due to lack of opportunities to do something substantial to survive and make progress in life. They lag behind the pace of collective movement. Their agony and miseries remain unheard of or pretended to be unknown by those who control the social fabrics and command respectable positions in society and governance. Either their circumstances are created or they are destined to live a miserable life. The human efforts to think over the issues and plan to alleviate them from their pathetic conditions are not much focused or seriously taken care of.

The result is that a section of society has been remained primitive in every era and that creates a big gap in the socio- economic standards of the people among themselves. The selfishness in man has created a big gap among so-called the rich and the poor. The rich enjoy all the comforts and amenities and the poor become the nucleus of anti social activities due to lack of even the minimum essentials of life. It is found that the slums in urban areas are the nucleus of drug- peddling, robbery, pick-pocketing, violence etc. They have been branded as anti-social elements but when we unearth the root cause behind the plight of these slum dwellers we can easily trace out the negligence of the governance behind it. Instead of enabling them to become self reliant by providing them opportunities of appropriate jobs for sustenance, the democratic regimes have been spoon-feeding them for decades. The poverty, unemployment and injustice of various kinds at different levels have not yet been uprooted and there is no agenda of the government to eradicate these conditions of the needy ones. Human beings have to move forward with great speed towards their common goal to achieve.

The spirit of social equanimity and providing opportunities for the socio-economic self- sufficiency must be guaranteed to all without any reservations or any narrow sentimentalities. The call of the Supreme in this regard is reverberating in the Cosmos and reminding the conscious humans to take their human endeavours to construct a roadmap for total regeneration of the socio-economic structure of human society.

A noble society free of all sorts of sentimentalities and exploitation of all types has to take appropriate shape for that. Everyone has to think and plan properly and act proactively to respond to the call of the ailing humanity. PROUT is the strategic solution of all the problems. Must go through PROUT to act for the people’s call.
