Festival: an opportunity for resonating the environment with positivity

This happens because the neurons which fire together, wire together synchronously. This applies to the group as well. The different brains connect, act as one. What is more startling about it is that, energy exchange also takes place. The weaker circuit strengths. As it is done in a positive environment. Hence desired change happens in targeted areas. The inimical tendencies are suppressed and friendly ones activated. Group synergy play crucial role in establishing higher values. Music, songs, move the mind, make them dance. They should be selectively chosen for uplifting mind and boosting sense of self.

Our legacy is richer. We have easy access to it. What is needed is stubborn will and determination to act. Previous preparation should be made in more focused ways to be able to achieve the desired goals. Such opportunities are not so frequent. Also, too much resources are to be deployed. The tradition has transformative dimensions also. This should be an area of focus.

We are doing many things, but we can derive more benefits by slight modification. To be clear. Fasting is done by many, in different ways like not taking meal or taking fruit etc. However Fasting  and Upavas are not the same. Meaning differs. The root ‘vas’ stands for staying and prefix “up” for near. Meaning missing meal and engaging mind in bhajan, kirtan, meditation. Our subjective perception and feeling impacts our true being. Without the ideation (bhava) of God, fasting can’t be called Upavas.

The study shows that gut-brain act as one system. When we eat right food and think right, we derive maximum benefit. Our thought pattern impacts our overall health. We direct mind and body to behave in certain ways by our thought.

Particularly for implanting spiritual values in infants’ mind such environment is conducive. The program from dawn to dusk should be made in advance. This  needs our urgent attention. It is only through behavioral intervention that we can change the trend. That’s not possible without collective effort.
