Editorial : Start your journey within

The human mind travels from object to object mostly dwells upon the external objectivities. Distance doesn’t matter much….the objective (purpose) does! The motive of mind is to get happiness, pleasure, blessings to retain happiness intact, demonstrating the grandeur of one’s physical recognition and one’s personality. Whole life passes in acquiring the material means and exhibitions. The real journey of life awaits the opportunity to be prioritised. The inner spirit waits for the opportune moment but rarely it comes!

Life is messed up in the myriads of lights and shadows of varied degrees and dimensions. They never let the mind be calm and quiet to think beyond these relative phenomena. One rarely gets inner motivation to limit the mundane engagements and involve oneself in the pursuit of resurgence of the self, knowing the true nature of one’s self for which he or she has been aspiring for lives innumerable. As the human structure is obtained, the longing for the self -realisation gets enveloped by the confusions of ignorance and logic overpowers the serenity of conscience and detachment unreasonable. Now unimportant becomes important and the value of human life is underestimated and compromised.

The path which leads to happiness infinity is essentially introverted and moves along the intense desire to realise the Supreme that signifies the Self-Realisation, the sole motive behind getting the human structure. One may forget one true goal of life but scripture reminds us always to utilise one’s energy to promote the inner self being free from the worldly, emotional and objective preoccupations of bondages (of desires) and commitments of Samaska’ras (reactive momenta). It is said that the dorment inspiration in man awakes in two circumstances, one is, opposing and distressing circumstances and the second is, inner will force. The uncongenial external pressure creates a sort of havoc in the human mind when thought-flows become almost thin and ineffective. The mind becomes indecisive and he or she is compelled to seek the right path or movement to safeguard one’s existence.

When  the desire to realise the Supreme Consciousness intensifies within one’s mind, he automatically gets a guide, a spiritual Master. But again it depends upon the individual how much and how far he /she is interested in pursuing the path of righteousness. True! It is imperative to follow the Yogic Practices to move deep within to realise the veracity of one’s own self. Yoga stands for PEACE, Peace for the whole humanity on this Earth! Let’s celebrate International Yoga Day with great fervor and enthusiasm!
