Making decisions in trade and diplomatic relations is not a choice but to effect a balance to sustain and let others survive too in the world today. The changing world economic order has made it clear that one nation cannot ignore the interests of another nation while deciding its own economic policy. The days seem to be over these days when the US used to make the policy of survival through trade and diplomacy for developing countries. Trump’s decisions regarding tariffs, grabbing land of potential rare earths (Greenland and Veneàzuela), changing the regime of (Iran) sovereign countries by propagating false misgivings etc. may not work now in the economic warfare among the world nations. The role of Trump in captivating Venezuelan President Maduro, threatens to grab Greenland if not handed over to the US, Iran’s mass upsurge and probable regime change etc. have created a sturr in Nations of the world which has far reaching consequences. As a result, there are dissentions among Nato countries, the EU decides to come out from the US phobia to shake hands with BRICKS countries in a bid to increase its business deals ignoring the economic shadow of the US.
Having annoyed with the unpalatable decisions of Trump, Canada has shaken hands with China who has been a close ally with the US in all respects. Most of the EU nations have decided to increase trade deals with India and other potential countries.
India has been keenly but silently observing all these developments and now it has been accepted globally as the more reliable, resilient and cooperative economy in the world so as every nation wants to increase the size of their businesses and the trending of making agreements in all the fields of economic and warfare.
The trade of goods between countries in their own currency has marked a great shift in economic warfare today. This is a process of de-dollarisation, a big slap on the US. The US has become upset and bound to change its policies otherwise it will be left alone. The price of essentials in the US is rising, making life uncomfortable for people to survive. The grievances among the senators as well as the public have already been started.
At the end, one thing is clear that the tariff sanctions by the US has given a wonderful privilege for India to be recognised as the most resilient and reliable country in the world. Countries of the world have great hope towards India as an efficient emerging world leader. It is a good sign that India is rising beyond the dollar economy and the tariff sanctions. The whole scenario signalling that the economically unilateral world has lost its equipoise and alternative trade alliances are in making.
