The present world economy follows Capitalist pattern of economic dealings which is basically guided by a self-centered profit motivation. It obviously prompts a sense of dominance and the tricks of powerplay to remain dominant and rule over the growing economies in its terms. It is a psychological war to exploit the resources of the world with a complete concentration under the grip of the dominant one. It is well reflected in the intention of the USA leadership. The whole tariff game is psycho- economic exploitation which is going to boomerang on the economy of the USA and maligning its face value. The reason is that it is going to impose an undue burden of expenses on the heads of its citizens. It has great socio-economic concern which may rock the regime of Trump in his own country. The USA is a democracy and the interests of its citizens must be cared for.
The news is that the reactions of Trump decisions have already started in the USA as well as by the other nations like India, Brazil, Russia, China etc. They have become active to make their alliances strong against the USA, rather to give a befitting reply to the USA by creating a strong alternative of trade and commerce with a much stronger currency than the dollar. The USA is unstable today realising its fretful future.
The affluence of a nation cannot survive long by dominance and exploitation of other nations. It must end in the interests of the common mass who suffice essentialities of life to survive and progress. The nations of the world must prioritise “guaranteeing the right to minimum essentialities and maximum amenities to their citizens” in a healthy trade system. In this respect PROUT (Progressive Utilisation Theory) is realised to be the only alternative synthesis socio- economically to fulfil the needs of the whole of humanity today on the planet. The Tariff Game undermines the interests of the people of any country.
